Jessica is an Associate Family Lawyer at Eliza Legal who supports clients through complex and often sensitive matters with compassion and empathy. Jess holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce, along with a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. She practises exclusively in family law and advises on a range of matters including separation and divorce, parenting arrangements, property settlements, spousal maintenance and family violence.
Jess is committed to providing clear, pragmatic advice while guiding clients towards practical and sustainable outcomes during challenging times. She takes an approachable and client-focused approach, working closely with her clients to ensure they feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout the process. Jess has a particular interest in supporting clients experiencing family violence and is committed to ensuring they feel safe, heard, and supported throughout the legal process.
Jess has experience in family law litigation in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and maintains a strong focus on resolving matters efficiently and, where possible, through negotiated outcomes. She works with clients from a range of backgrounds and tailors her advice to each client’s individual circumstances, recognising that every family law matter is unique.
In addition to her practice, Jess volunteers at community legal centres and is a committee member of the Victorian Women Lawyers.
